FLATBREADS

Serves 4

Super quick and easy to make, great as a snack or with a meal

 INGREDIENTS                                                       

●      75g wholemeal flour

●      75g white self-raising flour

●      150g natural yoghurt

●      Extra flour for rolling

 

EQUIPMENT

Large bowl, measuring spoon, knife rolling pin, pastry brush, frying pan

ALLERGENS: Milk, Gluten

TIP: Cumin seeds can be substituted for a variety of different spices.

METHOD  

STEP 1

Place the 2 flours into the mixing bowl

STEP 2

Add the yoghurt and mix well

STEP 3

Knead the mixture gently on a floured surface (you may have to add a bit more flour if the mixture is too sticky)

STEP 4

Divide the dough into 4 with the knife and shape into balls

STEP 5

Roll each out into a rough circle of approx. 18cm size (size of a small plate)

STEP 6

Heat the frying pan on a medium heat and cook the flatbread individually until the puff up slightly and turn golden (approx. 2 minutes on each side)

STEP 7

Cool slightly and serve
